Life Force Foundation is a not for profit organisation, so can only survive on the generosity of the community. You can help. There is the constant plea “for the price of a coffee a week” but it’s a truth. If 300 people contribute $5 a week to the Friends for Life club, we can run our weekly support groups over a year. Then when our Corporate Friends contribute a quarterly or annual lump sum we can offer retreats, and seminars. We cannot organise events, seminars, retreats or our very important fundraisers without our "Life Force Angels" who are our volunteers.
Your financial donation of $2 or more is tax deductible, and every contribution will mean the world to someone, maybe someone you may or may not ever meet but someone who is terrified they may not make it. Or perhaps someone who has just been diagnosed, who’s praying before every meeting with their oncologists that their markers have decreased. Someone who goes home to young children hoping they see them grow up, someone just scared. Your donation will give us the means to give them support - that warm safe place.

Life Force’s Regional Program reaches out to those in country NSW who need our support. The retreats that we run in country regions provide an intensive healing program that gives cancer patients ongoing and tangible skills to manage their emotional wellbeing through the days, weeks, and months to follow.
Patients may need ongoing support and following the retreat, they are followed up via phone by a qualified counsellor. Due to the economic needs in the country, these programs are sponsored up to 100%.
Your support to the regional program may give someone in need a lifeline. A donation of $80 will support an individual counselling session, $600 will support a single place at a retreat, $6000 will support 10 people, and $12000 will ensure a retreat takes place.
Each year Life Force currently offers in excess of 200 support group sessions to cancer patients and carers, and as a cancer patient can often have significant financial pressures, Life Force charges a nominal fee or none at all. It is only through generous donations that the groups, seminars and retreats can deliver.
